Buroker

A community on Dry Creek, in 1889, it was named Aldrich when a railroad line was built. In June 1908, it was changed to the present name in honor of the Buroker family pioneers of 1864. The father, David Buroker, was born in Virginia in 1818, came west to Ohio in 1834, and after some time in Missouri and Nebraska, came to the Walla Walla country where he farmed and was involved in the real estate business and eventually became one of the wealthiest farmers of Walla Walla County.
