Hing Hay Park (#15)

The corner of Maynard Avenue and King Street was once a central gathering place for the Filipino American community, anchored by Duke’s Tavern and Eddie’s Barbershop. Hing Hay Park—whose name translates as “Celebrate Happiness”—was initially created in 1973 and expanded in 2017.
