Lake Samish

An 814-acre lake, maximum depth 145 ft. the lake is crescent-shaped and is about three miles long. The name is from a Native American word, Samena, meaning a hunter, which was the name of a tribe who lived around this lake and on Samish Island. Some maps call it Lake Samish.
