This vantage point offers a splendid view of Dabop Bay, Hood Canal, and Juan de Fuca Strait, and of the long line of the Cascades on the east and the Olympics on the west.

Mount Walker is a 2,769-ft. peak south Quilcene in east central Jefferson County. The peak has been used for a forest fire lookout for it has a sweeping view of Hood Canal, the Olympics, and the strait of Juan de Fuca.
