Ellisford

About 30 families of Dunkard Bretheren, who came during the World War, live on their small orchard farms in the immediate vicinity of Ellisford, across the river. The brethren allow their beards to grow, but not mustaches.

The name is a combination of the last names of George H. Ellis and James E. Forde, pioneer merchants and ranchers.
