North Bay

A 3-1/2-mile-long bay, with a half mile average width is southeast of the eastern end of Hood Canal. The Native American name for the bay was Skwak-sin. In 1841, the Wilkes Expedition named it Paun Cove. Present name came into local use because the bay is a northern extension of Cases Inlet.
