Rimrock Lake is a seven mile long reservoir behind Rimrock Dam in the Tieton River. More recently the lake which is used for irrigation has become known as Tieton Reservoir. The lake flooded the former site of the John Russell ranch, a school teacher who homesteaded in the Tieton Basin in the 1880s.
