Wilson Creek

A trade center of stock raisers and dairymen. One-story brick building Wilson Creek Citizens Bank (1906) is located on a corner lot in the center of town. The one-story brick building was vacant and abandoned for decades before its restoration, but it now houses a museum and the town hall. It is listed in the state and national Registers.

The lowlands and creek bottoms furnish excellent pasturage. Natural corrals are formed by the high, precipitous cliffs surrounding some of the meadows. Crab Creek is a good trout stream, with rapids and natural caves.
